Speaking Opportunities

Are you interested in speaking at the HR Tampa Conference & Expo?

HR Tampa welcomes your application to provide topics that will allow us to advance the human resource profession and the capabilities of all human resource professionals.  It is our goal to ensure that human resources is an essential and effective partner in developing and executing organizational strategy.

The following are some guidelines to consider when developing a presentation:

  • Sessions must relate directly to the SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge™ (SHRM BASK™) of both SHRM and HRCI.  All presentations must qualify for SHRM Professional Development Credits and HRCI General or Strategic recertification credits.

  • Presentations for chapter meetings should be at least 45 minutes and allow 15 minutes for questions.

  • Presenters are expected to honor our commitment to provide education by not showcasing or promoting the speaker’s practice, services or products.

Presenters who would like to share their areas of expertise or interest will need to complete the Speaker Proposal Form.

If your proposal is selected, you will be contacted by the Director of Programs to make arrangements.  If your proposal is not selected, it will be retained on file one year for possible future use.

Thank you for your interest in HR Tampa.  If you have questions, please direct them to programs@hrtampa.org.
